2023 – Prague Declaration on National Infrastructure Roundtables for a Just Transition
WFEO issued the Prague Declaration, announcing a new initiative to create National Infrastructure Roundtables for a Just Transition that leaves no one behind.
Organized by engineers, the National Roundtables will promote climate and disaster resilient infrastructure that is inclusive, multisectoral, and sustainable economically, socially, and environmentally.

2023 – Prague Declaration
The Prague Declaration was signed at the closing ceremony of the 7th World Engineers Convention 2023 held in Prague on October 13.
WEC 2023, organised by the Czech Association of Scientific and Technical Societies (CSVTS) in collaboration with WFEO, brought together leading engineers from around the world to address urgent planetary challenges and explore how technological innovations and transdisciplinary approaches can deliver environmental, social and economic sustainability to ensure a safe, fair, healthy and peaceful future.

The Declaration was signed on 21 November 2019 during the WFEO Plenary on Engineering Education at the WEC2019, between WFEO, UNESCO and International Engineering Alliance on the need to work together for internationally recognised engineering education standards and capacity building in engineering education.

The Paris Declaration has been jointly signed by WFEO and UNESCO on our commitments to progress the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through engineering.
