It’s with great excitement that we announce World Engineering Day 2024 !
World Engineering Day is an opportunity to celebrate engineering and the contribution of the world’s engineers for a better, sustainable world.
The World Engineering Day 2024 program will include:
Aligned with the 2024 Theme “Engineering Solutions for a Sustainable World”, the World Engineering Day Hackathon encourages engineering students to work in teams towards a global real-world problem. The Hackthon also focuses on this key initiative as this year, we go green, and addresses challenges with Climate Action at their core, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
We are proud to announce that we received 2500 registrations for this year’s Hackathon, with almost 200 submissions! That’s a large increase over last year!
This broadcast, for which the program will be soon available, will show highlights of World Engineering Day 2024 around the globe, and how engineers across the world are celebrating in their regions.
