To celebrate the World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development 2024, UNESCO organizes a webinar titled “Engineering a Sustainable Energy Future: Innovative Solutions for a Better Tomorrow” that will be held on 4 March 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (CET)
Since its proclamation by UNESCO in 2019, World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development has been celebrated each year to increase global awareness and understanding of the role of engineering in addressing the many challenges faced by humanity, such as mitigating the impact of climate change and advancing sustainable development.
This year’s theme for World Engineering Day is ‘Engineering solutions for a sustainable world’. Aligning with this theme, the Day will be an opportunity to enjoy a stimulating and informative webinar on Engineering a Sustainable Energy Future: Innovative Solutions for a Better Tomorrow. The webinar will feature a keynote address and a panel discussion with experts working in the field. Please find attached the provisional agenda for the event.
