It will show real case studies illustrating practical applications of the 10 guidelines contained in Engineers Canada’s 10 principles of sustainable development and environmental stewardship for engineers, which is the Canadian adoption of the WFEO Code of Practice for Sustainable Development and Environmental Stewardship).

Sustainability in Practice originally launched in 2018, and since then, has seen participants who are engineers and non-engineers alike, and who work in a range of industries, including in consulting engineering, government, education, construction, manufacturing, education, oil and gas, renewable resources, utilities, mining, and non-governmental organizations.

Course opens on 7 May and ends on 25 June.
Deadline to enroll in Verified mode (to obtain certificate of completion) is 15 June.
