The WFEO Working Group on Water (WGoW) (transferred to a Standing Technical Committee during the WFEO General Assembly in March 2022) has published the final version of its second report “Achieving SDG 6 (Water goals): Contribution from engineering” coordinated by Joaquim Poças, Vicepresident of WGoW, member of the Ordem dos Engenheiros (OdE-Portugal), under the supervision of Tomás Sancho, Chair of WGoW.
In this report, the working group concentrated on innovative solutions for WASH (clean water, sanitation and hygiene), but also on proven engineering solutions still not widely used. As SDG 6 goes beyond WASH, other topics are also addressed.
