The Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK) in collaboration with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK), is organizing the 31th IEK Annual International Convention themed “Industrialization for Economic Transformation and Employment Creation” to be held from 29 October to 1st November 2024 at the PrideInn Paradise Beach Resort Convention Centre and Spa in Mombasa.
The 7th Women Engineers Summit themed “Future of Work: Women’s Role in Industrialization and Green Growth” and the 3rd Future Leaders Summit and Expo themed “Future Leaders Shaping Industrialization” will be held on 29 October, as part of the convention’s opening day.

This year’s convention aims to unite over 4,000 local delegates and 400 international participants, including policymakers, industry leaders, academia, and other stakeholders to explore strategies for leveraging industrialization to foster economic development and create sustainable employment opportunities.
