The Global Solutions Summit 2023 (GSS 2023) will be held on 5 May between 10 AM to 1:30 PM EST (4 PM to 7:30 PM CEST), at the UN headquarters in New York, with a focus on Leveraging the Diaspora, Youth, and the African Continental Free Trade Area to Harness Science, Technology and Innovation for the SDGs 2030. The co-organizers of GSS 2023 are the Global Solutions Summit (GSS), in partnership with the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA), the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) and its Affiliate Members and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
This event will complement and amplify the discussions of the Africa Day and STI Forum.
WFEO Former President, 2017-2019, Dr Marlene Kanga AO will speak at the opening session and Chair of WFEO UN Relations Committee KN Gunalan will speak at the closing.
