WFEO-CAC has been working closely with the GIACC and Globethics Foundation to put together a comprehensive train-the-trainers program of 16 master class sessions on the prevention and investigation of fraud and corruption.
The initiative which is being promoted primarily to WFEO’s member organisations, is also open to personnel of governments, law enforcement bodies, public and private sector organisations, and professional institutions. As far as we are aware, this is the most wide-ranging and ambitious anti-corruption train-the-trainer initiative ever to be launched internationally in the construction sector.
The Training Programme will explore the complexities of corruption and conflicts of interest, their prevention and detection, approaches to measure their impact and, the role of Artificial Intelligence and ethics in prevention strategies. It is a free, certified, comprehensive series of four (4) training suites spread over 16 online train-the-trainer workshops and realised at approximately two-week intervals between October 2024 and June 2025. Each workshop will be between 1.5 and 2 hours.
The intention of the workshops is not only to provide training but also, to discuss among participants how the workshop content can be improved, and how it can be adapted and localised. Certified trainers have the opportunity to use the training materials to provide training in their home country with the condition that the workshops are held under the auspices of the relevant national professional institutions.
The workshop trainers include:
- Neill Stansbury (GIACC International), presenting 8 workshops under Suite I;
- Michael Kramer (GIACC/IACRC-USA), presenting 2 workshops under Suite II;
- Kamel Ayadi (WFEO-CAC, GIACC, GE-MENA), presenting 3 workshops under Suite III;
- 2 workshops under Suite IV focusing on AI and ethical perspectives presented by Christoph Stückelberger (Globethics),
- Olivier Guillo (Smart Global Governance) and Joshua George (Woxsen University);
- Other subject expert guest speakers including Paul M. Heywood of the Global Integrity Anti-Corruption Evidence (GI-ACE) programme.
