The 2024 World Science Forum took place in Budapest, Hungary, from 20 to 23 November. Every two years, over 900 leading scientists, decision-makers from the world of politics, industry, representatives of the civil society and the media from all over the world gather for the World Science Forum to engage in dialogue about pressing global challenges.
WFEO President Mustafa Shehu participated in the Roundtable discussions on Utilizing the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development (IDSSD) Effectively for Accelerated Sustainable Development in Developing Countries. The proposal on Sustainable Housing was brought by UNESCO Office in Beirut, Lebanon.
