The first International Conference on Engineering and Technologies for Sustainable Development (ICETSD 2024) took place virtually and in person on 28 August 2024 at the INTI International University, in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.
The theme was Sustainable Engineering and Technologies’ Best Practices for a Better Tomorrow and aimed to address global challenges through innovative solutions.
ICETSD 2024 brought together experts, researchers, practitioners, and visionaries from diverse fields—engineering, quantity surveying, technology, sciences, education, and management to explore sustainable pathways.
Ing Dr. Enyonam Kpekpena, the Chair of the WFEO Committee on Women in Engineering (WIE), spoke as a plenary speaker with the presentation entitled Harnessing the potential of females in engineering education, during the Track 6 Engineering Education, chaired by Prof. Ir. Dr. Leong Wai Yie, who is also the WIE Deputy Chair and co Chair of the WIE Theme 1 Engineering Workforce Capacity building.
